Werner
Berger, executive producer of the new film, “Back from The Edge”
(working title) is seeking accredited investors who are interested
in: potentially earning returns of 20% (or more); revealing why
drug manufacturers focus only on treating symptoms, not cures;
wondering why no medical cures have been discovered in the last 50
years; and who are concerned with helping create better health for
the nation.
The investment vehicle, a feature
length film, addresses the issues of 8 out of 10 people dying of
degenerative diseases and 66% of North America being overweight; it
asks the question, “Why is this happening?” Moviegoers will be
amazed, shocked, and horrified by the answer…and delighted by their
enlightenment to live healthier lives.
The Movie
On May 22nd, 2007, Werner Berger stood atop the
summit of Mount Everest. Werner turned 70 in July of 2007, and as
such is the oldest North American (in fact, Westerner) to have
accomplished this feat, and to have reached the highest peak on each
of the seven continents (the “Seven - Summits”).
The simple message of the film is, “If Werner
Berger, at two months shy of 70, can climb Mt. Everest, there are
simple lifestyle changes you can make to enhance your life...we'll
show you how.”
Meet Me At The Top, Inc. is partnering with
top-tier production and marketing talent, and has filmed Back From
The Edge in such locations as, Mount Everest in Nepal, Bangkok, and
in multiple cities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
The Production Team
Directed
by Hollywood marketing and promotions veteran, Randall Blaum, the
film will have an edge that is undeniable. Randall’s previous film,
“UR Pre-Approved” has received great attention in the personal
finance arena, parent’s groups, banks, and credit unions and focuses
on how people get into debt and why many Americans are forced into
being debt slaves for the rest of their lives… and how they can get
out, now.
Randall has worked
with and promoted people like; Madonna, George Lucas, Carl Reiner
and NY Times best-selling author Janet Switzer. He has created
promotions for all of the major Hollywood studios, and cut his teeth
directing several trailers for companies like, THX, Dolby Studios,
and other movie theater circuits across the country. He has had his
own television and radio show and is currently heard on America Web
Works Radio every week, worldwide.
Randall’s marketing
savvy doesn’t end at the director’s chair either. Worldwide
audiences have seen his marketing strategies and campaigns and he
has the knack of being able hit the pulse of the mass market and
move them to buy.

Producer, David
Scotland, has produced several live events and successful
business media programs. David is also the screenwriter for the
film and has published four books, which have been translated into
several languages for worldwide distribution.

Emmy Award winning
cinematographer, John Griber, led the film crew to Mount
Everest and summited the mountain capturing Werner’s ascent and
success. John is a North Face Athlete and has won several other
awards for his climbing ability and cinematography. John’s
in-your-face style brings a new look to Everest and to the project.
Like the successful
films “Supersize Me” and “Sicko” (see below), “Back
From The Edge” is an entertaining and educational film. It
provides viewers with plausible and easy steps to take, even as they
exit the theater, to increase their personal health and wellbeing.
Moviegoers will leave armed with information and will be able to ask
better questions about their own health care which will able them to
take more responsibility and have greater control over their own
health – and that of their families. “Back From The Edge” is
more than a run-of-the-mill documentary; it is an entertaining, yet
informative “actionmentary.”
“Back From The
Edge” features today’s most exciting and
thought provoking health experts, major industry and academic
“health superstars,” and celebrity health influencers. It also
features New York Times Bestselling authors with proven consumer
list appeal and PR records of accomplishment.
Meet Me at The Top, Inc.
(MMATT), a Nevada company with strong ties to the entertainment
industry through MEI Studios, was created to develop and execute the
script, and produce it for worldwide distribution. “Back From The
Edge” is more than simply a film, or a ‘good story’. It will
capitalize on the growth and earning potential of niche-films,
especially in the health, wellness, and spiritual marketplaces.
Film Schedule
Werner’s successful
summit of Everest has been captured on film; from his Los Angeles
airport departure to the summit of Mt. Everest. His personal journey
will be used as a metaphor for an individual’s voyage toward health,
with the main theme of the film being that people can, with the
right information, take responsibility for their own health and
welfare.
Filming of the
‘expert interviews’ is in the completion stage, with only two (2) to
go.
Investment Opportunity
Qualified investors
will be offered the chance to participate either with a fixed rate
of return, or with a share of the net revenues of the film as

should be viewed as a
highly speculative investment. There is no guarantee that revenues
associated with the film will exceed expenses incurred. As such

accredited investors only. No prospectus will be filed with the
SEC.

the film can be expected to begin in mid-2008. After the liquidation

Potential Revenues Streams
There are multiple
potential distribution modes associated with this film, including
front-line theater runs and DVD distribution, sales to television,
cable, airlines, associations and special interest groups. The full
extent of revenues accessible to this film are impossible to predict
at this stage, however films in this genre (Super-size Me, What
the Bleep Do We Know, Sicko etc.) have grossed over $12million,
$10million and $23million dollars (respectively) at box-office
worldwide, and continue to generate much more in terms of follow-on
revenue. There is no guarantee that “Back From The Edge” will
have a similar experience in terms of distribution modes and/or
revenue-generating capability.
Promotion
You might
already be aware of the very extensive publicity that the media has
lavished on Werner and the film during the last few months (see

of your activities and the progress of your movie.”
